REVIEW | Vanilla sky ride

September 29, 2014

When I did some make-up shopping a few days ago, I bought a few eyeshadow colours to try out and I found this amazing looking wet and dry shadow colour. The liquid metal eyeshadow wasn't really my cup of tea, but this intensif' eye colour sure is! I use it as a base coat before applying other nude colours to give my eyelids a lovely-looking shimmer. You can apply the eyeshadow on wet eyelids, resulting in a very pigmented vanilla colour or you can apply the shadow on dry eyelids. I adore the colour of this shadow and the packaging is to die for with the golden accents in the eyeshadow. Have you tried any of the Catrice intensif' eye colours yet?

OOTD | Shopping day

September 27, 2014

I felt like wearing a comfy outfit today as the days are getting colder and I am so ready for comfy sweater time. My Only jeans are the most comfortable in the world, they suit me like a second skin and they look amazing, black jeans are so easy to style! I used my bigger bag (H&M) to store the new items I got from my super short shopping trip with my best friend. My sunnies from New Look gave my outfit that sassy & classy look (I can't believe I just said that) that every girl needs on a shopping day. My sweater is diy and my H&M boots are the ones you saw a million times before (I need to find some new ones) but they're just so comfortable and I love them. I also wore my necklace from Ebay and that's basically it. A simple outfit for a colder September day! (My blazer is 2nd hand if you're curious)

INSPO | Style

September 25, 2014

You know those moments in the morning when you're lying in your bed, reading your favourite book and then all of a sudden your alarm clock goes off. When you jump out of bed, you try to find something to wear and all of a sudden your wardrobe looks like a labyrinth full of clothing you don't want to wear. I found something that has been, and still is, a major help when I'm getting ready for school in the early mornings. I created a style board with pictures that inspire me and help me find the perfect outfit in a few seconds. I created a style board for you guys as well and although I know that not everyone has the same taste as me, I hope this will help you!

REVIEW | Liquid metal eyeshadow

September 22, 2014

I recently did some make-up shopping and I found a really cool eyeshadow colour, called 'petrol pan liquid metal'. The packaging looked amazing and as the price was seriously reduced, I couldn't help but pick it up. I also got a few other make-up products but I will be posting a haul soon if you want me too. The eyeshadow I bought is dark blue-green and it promises to have a 'spectacular liquid metal effect'. While applying it, I noticed that the eyeshadow isn't very pigmented and it doesn't really suit my blue eyes, but I'm sure that it will compliment brown or green eyes. It looks lovelier after applying some mascara, but I'm not entirely convinced about the petrol pan liquid metal eyeshadow. Have you tried any of the liquid metal colour out yet?

INSPO | Currently craving

September 19, 2014

Internet shopping or just spending time surfing the internet isn't good for my mental shopping health. As a busy student I don't have time for a part-time job so I save the pocket money I get to buy accessories or clothing which can cause sad times when I can't buy the item I really wanted (and who wants to wait until Christmas?). Anyway, it's that time of the month again where I show you my monthly 'favourites' or simply said my monthly cravings. I have been loving midi-skirts, plain white blouses and small black purses. Anything minimalistic yet elegant and figure-embracing. What have you been craving lately?

NEW | Summer leaves

September 16, 2014

We all have these days where we don't feel like dressing up, but an outfit can easily be cheered up by a necklace like the one that arrived this morning in my postbox. While scrolling through Ebay, I found this lovely looking bracelet for under a dollar and I fell in love with the simple yet cute design. I love wearing simple necklaces with just a plain outfit as it adds a sprinkle of life to the 'boring' outfit. I can't wait to wear this more often!

OOTD | Antwerp fashion festival

September 14, 2014

I went to an event called the Antwerp fashion festival yesterday where bloggers sold their clothing, shops were open till 10PM and a fashion show was organised. I went there with my best friend who was so lovely to take a picture of my outfit (excuse the serious bee face). I really wanted to attend the fashion show, but me and my friend got lost and we missed the show. Too bad, but we did some window-shopping and we got to know new stores and places. Did you go to the Antwerp fashion festival?

FOOD | Chocolate chip cookies

September 13, 2014

These cookies are my secret addiction, I recently discovered the recipe to make them on Lovely Jubbly (a beauty/lifestyle blog) and I haven't stopped making them since. Every girl loves her chocolate and this is the perfect combination of delicious dough with chunks of chocolate, they're so easy to bake! I wanted to post the full recipe on here but my explanation wouldn't be as good as Lydia's, so click here to read the full recipe. I'm warning you, they're very addictive!

Perfume heaven

September 11, 2014

The Coco Mademoiselle perfume from Chanel has always been my favourite scent, I don't know what it is about this perfume that makes me want to wear it every second of the day. I remember collecting the small samples from this perfume when I was younger, I couldn't really afford the 'real' perfume so I made myself smell lovely by using the smaller samples, until my mum got home from her holiday and told me she bought a real bottle of the Chanel perfume. I was in heaven! It's a soft, floral, feminine scent and I absolutely love wearing it.
I recently also got a super cute perfume from Yves Rocher, it's the perfect travel size and I take it with me whenever I'm going somewhere. It's easy to grab and it makes you smell amazing. The So Elixir perfume has got a  strong, floral scent that is perfect for a night out or a dinner date when you want to smell good.
Last but not least, I love my Oilily Lucky Girl perfume. I got it a couple years ago from my family and I recently rediscovered it. It smells amazing and it reminds me of my childhood where I wanted to wear perfume to feel older and grown up. Oilily is known for its floral and sweet scents (I love me some floral scents, obviously) and I'm a huge fan of their perfumes. What is your favourite perfume?

Hauls and a birthday

September 8, 2014

To celebrate that my blog turned 2 years today, I decided to go shopping. I didn't spend a lot of money, but that doesn't mean I didn't get to buy some lovely stuff! I got some cool sunnies to wear during the last days of summer (can we just pretend it's extremely sunny and hot outside?), I picked up two pairs of super cute socks (they're my weakness) and last but not least I bought a planner from a friend of mine, which is always important during the schoolyear.
PS: Thank you so much for supporting me! It's been a lovely journey so far and I was given a lot of wonderful opportunities. Again, thank you for supporting me and giving me the chance to explore the big world of fashion & blogging. Thank you! I'm celebrating my blogger birthday with this haul & some cookies. Have a lovely day! :)

All about Skincare

September 7, 2014

Skincare is important for a lot of girls (I think) so I wanted to share my skincare routine and I'd love to hear about yours as well! I love using products from Hema as they keep my skin healthy and moisturised during the day (and they're really affordable). I usually cleanse my face in the morning with the natural Facewash gel and it makes your skin feel so soft! I allow my skin to breathe during the day, which means that I don't use any foundation, just some concealer and in the evening, I always clean my face using hydrating cleansing milk (it smells like cucumber!). I apply a hydrating face mask once a week to relax and fully hydrate my skin. That's my skincare routine, it's not much but it sure does wonders for my skin. Have a lovely day!
(Face mask: €2,75; Natural facewash gel: €4,75; Cleansing milk: €2,25; all from Hema)

OOTD | Shades of blue

September 5, 2014

I was in Antwerp with my family this week and my brother was so sweet to take pictures of my outfit so I'll be showing you what I was wearing you that day. I am so in love with my new jacket from Cavalli (you probably read about it in my last haul), it's the perfect colour and it keeps me warm during the colder summer days. My jeans are from Best Mountain they're quite old but I love wearing them as they're really comfortable. I decided to keep the outfit simple because the jacket is eye-catching so I wore a plain black t-shirt and a silver necklace underneath. My boots are from H&M and they finish this look perfectly. The bag is also from H&M and I will be posting a what's in my bag article soon, I promise! Have a lovely day!
