Trust your dreams, trust your heart and trust your story

(blouse: Topshop; shorts: thrift; bracelet: Couleur Cafe shop)

Yesterday, me and my friend (Ymke) went to Couleur Cafe in Brussels to see Macklemore and Ryan Lewis perform and they were amazing! The crowd was so hyped and everybody was jumping along when Can't hold us started playing. Lovely! I bought the cute bracelet there too and it's the same as Ymke, but she's got a dark brown one :) I will be doing an outfit post somewhere next week, so keep updated! :) Have a nice day!

"Don't look back, you're not going that way"

June 27, 2013

It's been a while since I posted something, but my life has been going up and down lately. I had to say goodbye to my best friend, my rabbit called Loco, who passed away yesterday and I'm still not over it. But I also have some good news, I had quite good grades and so, I can go to the last year of my secondary education! :) I haven't had any time for outfit posts, but here's an inspirational post (I hope). Have a lovely day :)

We are too young to talk about forever

June 21, 2013

Hey hey! I wanted to show off another diy shirt that I made yesterday and I'm also proud of :) Hate me or love me for copying logos from famous clothing designers, but I don't have enough money to afford the real ones and it's just fun to wear :) I am also wearing my new skirt from H&M that I bought yesterday and I must say that it's sooo comfortable! :) I'm a fan of everything that has 'waterfall" in it :) Waterfall skirts, waterfall dresses, waterfall braids,... anything :)
The fake Vans that I'm wearing are also really comfortable and they cheer every dark outfit up. I first wanted to wear my DM's with the outfit, but they are too 'heavy' and I wanted to keep it light.

Have a nice day!
Love,
Nausikaä

DIY: (fake) Chanel cropped top

June 20, 2013

Hello guys! It's been AGES since I last posted a DIY, but here is one and if I am honest with you, I'm soooo proud of it! :) I can't wait to wear it and of course, for you to try it out. I don't care if you're wearing a real or fake Chanel top, it's just a name, isn't it? I just wanted to experiment with logos and clothes, so here's both of them in one diy! :) I know I haven't been posting a lot lately, but my exams have finished now and I'm so ready for the summer holidays! :)
Something new: we have a new blogger! Her name is Elien and she will be posting diy tutorials for nail decoration, she will be testing some new stuff out (always interesting ;)) AND she will be showing you some awesome make-up tutorials.
I can't work with beauty products and neither does Ymke (sorry babe :P) but Elien is a pro at it! :)
Have a nice day and enjoy the DIY!

Nausikaä

You will be needing:
- black textilepaint
- a cheap shirt (preferably white)
- scissors
- sponges
- a paper with the chanel logo on it (you can download it from the internet or ask me)
- lots of patience

STEP ONE
Cut out the logo

STEP TWO
Cut of the sleeves of your shirt and almost half of the shirt at the bottom. You can sew it afterwards so it looks more professional.

STEP THREE
Place the cut out logo on your shirt (IN THE MIDDLE) and put some paper in your shirt, so you don't paint the back of your shirt too ;)

STEP FOUR
Start painting the letters with your sponge and make sure you don't paint anywhere but the rest of your shirt. You don't want any splats on the sleeves ;)

STEP FIVE
After having painted the logo, you get the paper carefully of the shirt and let the paint dry for about one hour. And TAAA DAAAA, you have your cropped Chanel top! :) I used a small paint brush to cover the not-so-well-painted-parts with black textilepaint.

HERE IS YOUR RESULT:

I will be showing you more pics in the following outfit post :)
